DOUGHMAKERS - an inspiring story about three sisters, Bette LaPlante, Diane Cuvelier and Barbara Wells. They were looking for a fundraiser item for a boy scout troop. Their idea was to sell a solid aluminum cookie sheet with a special textured surface. In the first fundraiser one hundred boy scouts sold 3,000 cookie sheets! The response from consumers was ecstatic.
The uncoated, textured surface produces superior baking results by allowing air to flow under the baked goods for even browning. The textured surface also gives the bakeware nonstick characteristics. The texture is embossed, not coated, so it will never wear off. This patented unique texture is called the Original Pebble Pattern™.
