GF- Series and GSF-Series Cutlery Collection

G- Series, GS-Series and GF-Series Global Knives are constructed from three pieces - the blade and two halves of the handle.  The GF knives have a blade and a collar that are forged as one piece.  The two halves of the handle are welded together and then the handle is welded to the blade.  For the GF knives the weld of the blade and collar to the handle is in the handle.

The GF "heavy" knives are made more in the tradition of German cutlery with thicker and heavier blades with the balance and feel of a German knife.  This line was designed to satisfy the cook who likes the 'heft' of German cutlery.
