Method Prepare the bechamel and meat sauces following the recipes given in the sauces chapter. Cook a few sheets of lasagne at a time in boiling salted water, with a tablespoon of oil added to prevent them sticking together. Drain them and lay them flat on a damp teatowel. Spread 2 tablespoons of meat sauce over the bottom of a dish, arrange the lasage on top, cover with meat sauce, bechamel, diced cheese and grated Parmesan. Continue adding layers in this way until you have finished all the ingredients. Finish off with a generous sprinkling of Parmesan cheese and a few knobs of butter. Place the dish on the rotating plate and cook on combination grill and microwave at 350 W for 15-18 minutes. For a special touch Try substituting the meat sauce with a pesto and bechamel sauce, building up layers in the same way.
