Method Wash the fish steaks well and pat dry. Marinate the fish with the chilli powder, turmeric powder, black pepper powder and salt and keep aside for 20 minutes. In a large oven-proof dish, heat the oil in the CRISP mode for 3 minutes along with the cumin and mustard seeds. Add the sliced onions, ginger and garlic paste and continue to cook in the CRISP mode for 5 minutes. Add the tomatoes with half a cup of water and the salt and cook in the MICROWAVE mode at 750W for 5 minutes. Add the marinated fish slices to the tomato curry and cook covered in the MICROWAVE mode at 650 W for 10 minutes. Sprinkle the garam and roasted cumin powder on the fish curry and stir. Sprinkle the fresh coriander on the curry and serve hot.
